The mayor, who visited the injured officers at DCH Regional Medical Center shortly after they were transported there from the scene, took to Twitter late Monday evening to commend the first responders who handled the incident earlier that day. At DCH this evening, I had the opportunity to visit with our two officers who were injured in the line of duty, and express the City’s sincere appreciation for their bravery, Maddox wrote in a tweet. (WBRC) - A 58-year-old Eastaboga man was killed in a single-car crash Friday afternoon. Alabama State Troopers said Dennis Terry was killed when he drove off the road and struck a tree. The crash occurred on Eastaboga Road seven miles west of Munford at 1:18 p.m. Troopers with the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency’s (ALEA) Highway Patrol Division continue to investigate.
